🚨 Public Safety Reminder from the Town of Maurice 🚨
We’ve recently seen an increase in vehicle burglaries within our community. Please remember: most of these incidents involve unlocked vehicles.
Chief Guy Nerrin urges residents: “Help us help you keep your subdivision safe. Lock your vehicle doors and remove valuables — it’s one of the simplest ways to prevent a break-in.”
Let’s work together to protect our neighborhoods. If you see something suspicious, don’t hesitate to report it.
As we prepare to celebrate Independence Day, the Town of Maurice would like to share some important information!
🎆 Fireworks are a beloved tradition—but they also come with serious safety concerns. Please remember:
✅ Know the Law – Fireworks regulations vary, and some types may be restricted. Be sure to follow all local ordinances to avoid fines or injuries. ✅ Be Courteous – Fireworks can be disruptive to pets, young children, and neighbors. Please be mindful of the time of night and where you’re lighting them. ✅ Stay Safe – Always have adult supervision, keep water or a hose nearby, and never attempt to relight malfunctioning fireworks.
Let’s come together as a community to celebrate with pride, respect, and responsibility. 🇺🇸✨
