💧 NOTICE TO TOWN OF MAURICE RESIDENTS 💧
The Town of Maurice has begun conducting our quarterly hydro testing throughout the Town’s water system. 🚰
🔥💦 During this process, Town personnel will be testing hydrants at various locations to measure water pressure and flow throughout the system. This routine testing helps us:
🔹 Monitor water pressure and available flow
🔹 Ensure adequate water supply for fire protection 🚒
🔹 Identify potential weak areas within the system
🔹 Gather important information for maintenance and future improvements
⚠️ PLEASE BE AWARE: As hydrants are opened and water moves through the system at higher-than-normal flow rates, sediment naturally present in the water mains may be disturbed. As a result, some residents may temporarily experience brown or discolored water.
If you notice discoloration, 🚿 run your cold water for several minutes until it clears.
Hydro testing will be conducted townwide, so residents may notice Town crews working at hydrants in different areas over the course of the testing period.
